My artistic perspective is pretty limited . What should I do if I don't like my pictures ? I think I have pretty good grasp of camera mechanic , not as well as I want but is a steep learning process. I need some sort of muse or a define style like Dave Hill or Ansel Adam . Maybe less Dave Hill cause there's too much poser trying creating his look with harsh light and post processing . As a result it might just end up looking like novelty instead of a timeless photo . For the time being I'll leave the Dave Hill look to Dave Hill .

Another day , another photo . It been almost 5 months since I received my K-x . My overall impression is brink on the border line between positive and negative . It does take time to practices and perfect the auto-focus on this camera considering AUTO5/AUTO11 is almost non usable , posing center-point come across a bit of a nuisance. Aside from the auto focusing , everything else is on par with Nikon/Canon Dslr . Pentax does have a trump card over Canikon see below .

I wanted to make this picture ever since I finish digital devil sage 2[Playstation 2 game] . It show the very core of Star Trek alternate universe theory . Just like if I would have never pick up a camera and began to explore the artistic possibility , would this picture come to a fruition ? probably ~ but it wouldn't be a photo . It would probably be a vector rendering or a small animation .

Happy belated Easter ! I had this idea for few days but didn't know how to execute it . The background was a picture of printed forest from my earlier hiking trip and the log is paper towel tube =D . Weather in New York is pretty erratic these day . Waves of heat keep clashing through in the afternoon while crashing cold air take over in the late evening . This picture was taken just right outside Flushing park . Extremely bright out , even with the hood I still get lens flare .

This picture would probably be better executed if I would use a subject with a notable front and back. Since this is the only vinyl I have that come apart , might as well use it. The harsh light is coming from the Ikea desk lamp that was rusting in my storage . I should of diffuse the light with a paper but I guess is too late now.
